Do I have to re-enroll to use the new My Account?

Yes, for security reasons you must re-enroll to use the new My Account.

Why do I have to re-enroll on the new My Account?

The new My Account is the next-generation system for online access. In addition to new features that you will enjoy immediately, additional features such as paperless statements are planned shortly after you migrate. For security reasons, login information from the old system cannot be migrated to the new system. Please note that you will not abe able to access the old system after August 31, 2011.

If I was already signed up for Auto Pay in the old My Account, do I need to sign up for Auto Pay again after I re-enroll?

No, if you were already signed up for Auto Pay you do not need to sign up for Auto Pay again after you re-enroll in My Account.

Can I use the same password that I used for the old My Account when I re-enroll?

You can use the same password as long as that password meets the minimum password requirements in the new My Account system.

How long do I have before my access to the old My Account is terminated?

Your access to the old My Account system will be terminated after you enroll in the new My Account or on August 31, 2011, whichever comes first.

What information do I need to enroll in the new My Account system?

You will need the following information to complete the My Account enrollment:
  • Your 19-digit Account Number, which is located on your monthly billing statement
  • Your Social Security number
  • Your billing Zip Code
  • A valid e-mail address
  • Your billing Phone Number

What if I don't re-enroll on the new My Account system before August 31, 2011?

If you do not enroll on the new My Account system before August 31, 2011, you will not be able to access your student loan account online.

Can I enroll in the new My Account system after August 31, 2011?

Yes, you can enroll in the new My Account system at any time before or after August 31, 2011. However, the old My Account system will be disabled on August 31, 2011.

Will the old My Account system support Paperless Statements?

No. The old My Account system will be discontinued after August 31, 2011.
